Lunar Observance Days (Uposatha)
Uposatha days falls on full and new moon, as per the dates in the lunar calendar, established through traditional calculation methods.
Due to the moon’s full size and radiant luminosity, the full moon day is considered the most auspicious among the four lunar phases. Buddhists globally would take part in various activities to cultivate moral virtue, mindfulness, and wisdom.
