The traveller seethes, his anger hard to swallow;
When sudden trouble flares, do not draw near.
Its nest destroyed, the forest bird has nowhere to roost —
Seek the deep woods and settle there in safety.

行人怨日气难吞
忽有灾事勿近身
巢破林鸟无所宿
可寻深处稳安身

If you have wronged someone, do not expect a quick resolution. Kind words will not be believed yet, so wait for a better moment.

This lot counsels stepping back from conflict: when resentment is running hot, even good words will not be believed, so it is wiser to keep steady, stay out of the fire, and wait for a better moment to mend things.

Your household's prospects look gloomy now but will improve, so stay careful. Wealth comes easily and business succeeds, though marriage meets obstacles. A baby boy is likely, travel goes smoothly, and farming and livestock do well. A missing person will be found, but lost items are hard to trace. Lawsuits resolve reasonably, moving house is unremarkable, and any vow made to the Bodhisattva for health should be fulfilled. Ancestral graves are blessed.

When someone is burning with anger, even at us, the kindest first move is often space rather than more words. The Buddha compared receiving abuse to being offered a gift we can simply decline to pick up. Is there a conflict where you could pause the urge to defend yourself, and let time and calm do the softening work first?
